Here comes a Japanese Queer Movie 'MARIKOROSE the SPOOK', Toronto!
"DEVI KOBAYASHI SPECIAL" will be played on July 24th, 2011 at the 3rd annual Shinsedai Cinema Festival in Toronto which will be held from July 21st to 25th.
My recently directed films, 'MARIKOROSE the SPOOK' and 'HIKARI' are scheduled to screen for the first time in Canada.

'MARIKOROSE the SPOOK' is a Queer Movie screened at a dozen of Japan film festivals including four famous lesbian & gay film festival (Aomori, Tokyo, Kansai, and Kagawa) in Japan.
It also won the Audience Prize at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2010.

This is the comedy that a drag queen ghost named Mariko rose trys to help a lesbian girl suffering from her lovesickness, but unexpectedly becomes a fuss.
Mariko Rose's singing and dancing along the original tune is one of the most fantastic scnenes.
This entertaining film makes you laugh and sudden tears might roll down your cheeks at the last.
I really hopes everyone who is sexual minority and who is in love will see this film.
The other one is 'Hikari'.
This is a comedy about UFO and a girl of mental minority.
